Thomas C. F. Malaspina

Tom earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law, where he was heavily involved in advocacy, leadership, and service. During law school, he competed as a member of two Mock Trial Teams, served as a participant and eventual coach for the Client Counseling Team, volunteered with Baylor’s Veterans Clinic and Family Law Clinic, and was a member of the Baylor Barrister Society. Tom was also extensively involved with Baylor Law Admissions, serving as a student ambassador and helping prospective and admitted students navigate the law school experience. His contributions to the Baylor Law community were recognized through several honors, including the Baylor Law Civility Award and back-to-back Baylor Law Ambassador of the Year Awards, and culminated in Tom being awarded the Leadership Development Program Fellow distinction upon graduation.

Before becoming an associate, Tom worked at Naman Howell as a Summer Associate. His prior experience also includes working as a Judicial Affairs Legal Associate at Baylor University. Before law school, Tom graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Political Science.

Outside of the office, Thomas enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. He is a die-hard San Jose Sharks fan, regularly attends trivia nights, enjoys traveling, and is always up for a game of cornhole. He is also an avid history enthusiast, particularly when it comes to World War II and the American Revolution. Thomas also enjoys recreational target shooting, including trap and skeet events.
