Stephanie received her J.D. from Baylor Law School, where she was a Technical Editor for the Baylor Law Review and a member of the AAJ Mock Trial Team. Stephanie received her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of the Longhorn Band for four years.

Prior to law school, she was a Latin teacher at Cy-Fair High School in Houston for four and half years.
