Naman Howell attorney Ben Selman awarded 2022 Lola Wright Foundation Award
Waco based litigation attorney Ben Selman is awarded the 2022 Lola Wright Foundation Award by the Texas Bar Foundation. He is presented with this award in recognition for outstanding public service in advancing and enhancing legal ethics in Texas. The award winners will be recognized at the 2022 Texas Bar Foundation Annual Dinner happening later this year.
Ben’s law practice has been almost exclusively dedicated to litigation with both jury and non-jury trial experience. His expertise in family law has granted him multiple victories, emphasizing children’s rights and issues in litigation philosophy. A frequent lecturer at Baylor University School of Law, he continues to be an avid writer and contributor to the conduct of proceedings involving the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, Children’s Protective Services, and other matters involving legal ethics and professional responsibility.
The Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation, membership is by invitation only. For five decades, the Texas Bar Foundation has helped organizations to enhance the rule of law and the system of justice in Texas, especially for programs that relate to legal assistance for the underserved, the administration of justice, ethics in the legal profession, the encouragement of legal research, publications and forums, and education of the third branch of government.
