Cara Chase Presents at Baylor People's Law School

Naman Howell attorney Cara Chase is set to present at the Baylor Law School People’s Law School event on February 13, 2021. The event will be held entirely online via Zoom Webinar and is completely free. The People's Law School offers a half-day curriculum of courses designed to educate consumers about their legal rights and to make the law "user-friendly." The courses are taught by volunteer attorneys and legal experts. This year’s People’s Law School will feature courses on civil liberties, starting a business, elder law, guardianship, property taxes, and much more. Ms. Chase will be volunteering her expertise to present on the topic of Guardianship, outlining the process of guardianship appointment, the responsibilities of a guardian, and other key information about guardianship.

About Cara Chase

Cara’s practice is focused exclusively on elder law, estate planning, probate, guardianship and trust law. In addition to experience in counseling clients with both simple and complex estates and drafting traditional estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, Cara also assists clients with Medicaid applications, long term care planning and asset protection.
