Tim Nichols focuses his practice on civil litigation, primarily in the areas of general commercial litigation, premises liability, and personal injury. He is based in the Fort Worth office of Naman Howell Smith & Lee.

Tim recently earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, where he served as an Executive Board Member of the Military Veterans Law Association and competed nationally as a member of the UMKC Tax Team in the NCBE Tax Competition. During law school, he clerked for Hood Law Group in its Tax Controversy division and at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office, gaining experience in both civil and criminal litigation.

Prior to law school, Tim earned his Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University in 2019 and his Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Northern Arizona University in 2016. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Beyond the Law

In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and daughter, serving at his local church, playing golf, and hunting and fishing.

Prior to entering law school, Tim served in the United States Air Force, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following his military service, he worked with General Atomics Aeronautical as a Quality Engineer on experimental technology projects and later as a Technical Project Manager at T-Mobile. During law school, Tim clerked for Hood Law Group in their Tax Controversy division and at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.
