Camila focuses her practice on civil litigation, primarily in the areas of insurance defense and commercial vehicle accident defense. She has experience managing a high-volume litigation docket and has successfully handled numerous trucking accident defense matters through motion practice, mediation, and case resolution. Her experience also includes drafting appellate briefing and representing clients in complex civil litigation matters. In addition to her civil practice, Camila has experience in criminal defense. Camila is based in the Laredo office.
She earned her JD from St. Mary's University School of Law. Prior to graduating from law school, she clerked for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals under Judge Kevin Yeary, where she assisted with death penalty appeals and other criminal appellate matters. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Beyond the Law
In her spare time, Camila enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons, traveling with her family, watching movies, and trying new recipes. Prior to law school, Camila worked as a wedding planner and lived in Austin, Texas and New York City, experiences that helped shape her creativity, attention to detail, and appreciation for meaningful client connections.
