Cahal McColgan is based in the Austin office of Naman Howell. His practice focuses on personal injury and transportation litigation. Cahal has extensive trial experience that benefits his clients in the courtroom. Prior to joining Naman Howell, Cahal worked in criminal prosecution. Cahal served as an Assistant District Attorney in Harris, Brazos, and Travis counties. Cahal also gained experience as an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Office of the Attorney General, and as an Assistant United States Attorney with the United States Department of Justice in the Southern District of Texas. Cahal's experience as an Assistant United States Attorney and state prosecutor provide Cahal the skills to diagnose case strengths and best serve his clients.

Cahal is married to Amanda McColgan, an attorney and fellow Baylor Bear. When Cahal isn't working, he enjoys reading, exploring new coffee shops with his dog, and coaching trial advocacy teams at Baylor Law School.
