Naman Howell Welcomes New Class of Members
Naman Howell is proud to welcome its new class of equity members, Evan Patterson, Matthew Bohuslav, Kaitlin Kerr, Michael Duncan, and Jacqueline Altman.
The election of its new equity members includes attorneys from all the four offices of Naman Howell, Austin, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Waco. They each focus on various areas of law and have successfully met all requirements to be elected as members by the executive committee of the firm.
Evan Patterson is based in the San Antonio office of Naman Howell. The focus of his practice is commercial transportation litigation. Earlier this year he obtained a no liability and zero damages total defense verdict in a four-day trial in Bexar County. Prior to joining Naman Howell, he was an Assistant District Attorney for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, leading over 25 cases to trial. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Baylor University.
Matthew Bohuslav is based in the Austin office of Naman Howell. The focus of his practice is administrative law and civil litigation. He has successfully tried cases to juries in both state and federal courts, including arguing multiple appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law. Prior to joining Naman Howell, he was an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Attorney General’s Office for over a decade.
Kaitlin Kerr is based in the Fort Worth office of Naman Howell. The focus of her practice is insurance defense and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Naman Howell she served as a Judicial Clerk to Senior U.S. District Judge Robert Junell in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Tech School of Law and Baylor University.
Michael Duncan is based in the Austin office of Naman Howell. The focus of his practice is appellate law and motions practice. He is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals 5th Circuit, and the Western and Southern U.S. District Court of Texas. Michael is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and Rice University.
Jacqueline Altman is based in the Waco office of Naman Howell. The focus of her practice is personal injury defense and patent litigation. She has extensive experience representing clients at the district court level, co-pending IPRs, and through appeals at the Federal and Supreme Court level, as well as Hatch-Waxman litigation for pharmaceutical companies. She is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law and University of California, Irvine.
