Warren and Robinson Obtain Successful Defense Verdict
Naman Howell attorneys Larry Warren and Jackie Robinson successfully obtained a defense verdict on behalf of their client, Werner Enterprises, Inc. The case was tried in the 96th Judicial District Court of Tarrant County, Texas.
After a three-day trial the jury returned a verdict finding the plaintiff, was fully responsible for the accident and no fault was attributed to Werner or its driver. The damages questions were submitted unconditionally, and the jury found no damages caused by this accident.
This result was obtained even after the court had struck the defendants’ main expert witness and allowed into evidence Werner’s determination that the accident was preventable by its driver.
