Attorneys Larry Warren and Georgina Buckley obtained a complete defense verdict on behalf of a National Trucking Company (“Trucking Company”) in a jury trial held in April 2022 in the United States District Court – Western District of San Antonio. The case arose out of a motor vehicle accident wherein Plaintiff alleged that the Trucking Company was negligent, grossly negligent, and negligently hired, trained, or supervised its driver. Plaintiff additionally alleged the Trucking Company driver was negligent and grossly negligent. At closing, Plaintiff sought $4.7 million dollars. After a five-day trial, the jury awarded a complete defense verdict and found Trucking Company’s driver was not negligent, and awarded no damages.
