Attorneys Liser and Russo Obtain Successful Defense Verdict
Attorneys Sandra Liser, Grant Liser, and Christina Russo obtained a complete defense verdict on behalf of a Mergers and Acquisitions Firm (“the Firm”) in an Arbitration held in January 2022. Claimants alleged that the Firm’s failure to close a deal caused a downfall in Claimants’ business and was a breach of the governing Services Agreement, seeking damages in excess of ten-million dollars ($10,000,000.00). After a four-day Arbitration, the Panel issued a Final Award in favor of Respondents on March 22, 2022 and awarded an amount approaching $900,000.00 in attorneys’ fees and expenses.
