Mr. Blount concentrates his practice in the areas of public finance, corporate
and real estate transactions. Mr. Blount’s public finance experience
includes representation of issuers of various types of revenue bonds and
representation of indenture trustees. Mr. Blount has significant experience
advising corporations, partnerships and other business entities in asset
acquisitions and sales. He negotiates and prepares documents for stock
and asset transactions, provides counsel to business owners with respect
to structure and formation of entities, buy-sell agreements and issues
that arise in the operation of a commercial enterprise. Mr. Blount’s
real estate experience includes representation of buyers and sellers in
the purchase and sale of residential rental projects, shopping centers,
office/warehouse properties and undeveloped acreage. He also represents
landlords and tenants in the negotiation of office, retail, industrial
and mixed-use leases.
