Naman Howell Sponsors Baylor Business Law Boot Camp

Naman Howell was a proud sponsor of the Baylor Law School Business Law Boot Camp. This year, the Business Law Boot Camp took place from April 28th - May 3rd.

The Business Law Boot Camp is an intensive intersession course held between the spring and summer quarters, designed for Baylor Law students interested in business transactions. The week-long course offers a practical perspective on multiple aspects of business and the legal requirements and implications.

The courses covered materials such as business formation, commercial borrowing, raising capital, trademark and advertising issues, succession planning, selling a business, basic accounting, contract drafting, and negotiation skills.

During the boot camp, Waco member attorney Andy Powell taught a session on intellectual property, covering the issues faced when organizing and operating a business, and introduced students to the basics of trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
