Stephanie Potter joined the firm in 2009. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and administrative law.

Before joining the firm, Stephanie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Randy Crane in the McAllen Division of the Southern District of Texas, 2008-2009. She assisted the judge with civil cases in which issues ranged from alleged violations of federal laws such as the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act, to questions of federal jurisdiction or international comity, to employment discrimination and civil rights claims.

Since joining the firm, a significant portion of Stephanie's practice has been devoted to public utilities law. She has also represented telecommunications clients before the Public Utility Commission and in state court.

Stephanie is on a team that will acquire hundreds of miles of utility easements through negotiated purchase or condemnation.

In addition to her regulatory practice, Stephanie is involved in varied litigation work. She has represented a client in multimillion securities fraud litigation. She has also represented clients in the construction and agriculture industries in state and federal court disputes. Stephanie has first-chair experience in federal debt collection disputes.
